League match in Prague – 1st round

29 January 2011, Prague

Big sports gym, Pod Juliskou street 4, Prague 6 - Dejvice

Both Czech teams played the first match in the official league guaranteed by the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association. The opening match of the 2011 league season was hosted by the team BFC Prague that was missing only one player, the injured defender Jiří Sedláček. On the contrary, the team Avoy MU Brno was weakened by two players, the forward Matěj Plch and the first goalkeeper Martin Jelínek, who were both ill. The beginning of the match was cautious on both sides and Lukáš Valer was the first to draw attention when he missed the goal with a shot from an angle which scared the spectators sitting behind the goal of Avoy MU Brno. BFC Prague players celebrated the opening goal of the match in the middle of the first halftime. Lukáš Valer again managed to win the ball at the right hand sidekick and his surprising shot from ten meters left no chance for Milan Duda in the goal of the Brno team. The ball swept the left corner of the goal. Avoy MU Brno forwards tried to equalize, but they were ineffective as they either shot at the goal too early and from a bad position, or they lost the ball due to unforced errors. "We were surprised by the big gym. Our players are used to a more contact game on a smaller field," said Lukáš Pazderka, the coach of Avoy MU Brno after the match.

After the halftime break, Brno players after all managed to equalize. Jiří Fenz guided the attack in the mid-field and he was stopped by the defending duo Bodiš and Schejbalová. Although he lost control of the ball for a moment, he managed to catch it before his opponents and he shot towards the right post from a face to face position towards the goalkeeper Edita Millerová. The score remained equal for ten minutes. Deep in the defense half, Lukáš Valer won the ball and despite a foul from Aleš Moravec he managed to escape his guards. The referees left the Prague team with an advantage and Lukáš could continue his attack. Jan Hegr and Katka Lingová, the Avoy MU Brno defenders, responded too late and they let Lukáš pass all the way to Milan Duda's goal. The shot towards the right hand post was impossible to catch, especially as the shooter was five meters from the goal. Avoy MU Brno team tried to equalize, but they nearly received a third goal when Lukáš Valer appeared on the border of the penalty area. However, Milan Duda in the goal caught his quick shot with bravura. Towards the end of the match, Brno players had several corner kicks in a row but they did not manage to score the desired goal. The team BFC Prague deserved the win 2 - 1 because of the careful defense and ability to score from promising chances, mainly by Lukáš Valer, the best player of the match.

League match in Prague – 2nd round

19 February 2011, Brno

Purkyňova gym

Players of BFC Prague and Avoy MU Brno met again after three weeks to play a second match of the league, this time in Brno. Both teams were almost complete, only the Prague team was missing the injured Jiří Sedláček. Acknowledgements for the successful match belong to both teams and tournament organizers as well as spectators who created a pleasant atmosphere and motivated the players to good performance.

In the beginning of the match, the recovered Matěj Plch of Avoy MU Brno had a chance when he used his verve in the scrummage before Edita Millerová's goal, hitting the left pole. However, the visiting team was more active afterwards, especially Lukáš Valer, who was unstoppable. He managed to receive all passes from the goalkeeper and he got into promising positions. The Brno defence stopped his attacks only with difficulties. BFC Prague took the lead in the 11th minute. Lukáš Valer processed the ball after Edita Millerová's pass by the hand, he made a quick turn and unexpectedly shot from eight meters from behind the defence duo Jan Hegr and Kateřina Lingová. The Brno team goalkeeper Martin Jelínek couldn't see the ball well and the shot ended smoothly in the left upper corner of his goal. The received score primarily affected the home team's game as their sporadic attacks were toothless. Furthermore, the Brno team was static so the BFC Prague defence didn't have much work with keeping the favourable score.

Milan Duda, the Avoy MU Brno coach, made two changes in the lineup for the second halftime which significantly improved his team's performance. Jiří Fenz supported the defence instead of Jan Hegr and Aleš Moravec joined the attack next to Matěj Plch. Lukáš Valer didn't get so easily into the game any more as he was guarded on the pitch by all Brno players. After six minutes of the second halftime, equalization followed a rather low-profile action. None of the Brno forwards received Martin Jelínek's pass and the ball made it all the way to Edita Millerová's goalmouth. The Prague team defence Vladimír Bodiš touched the ball by accident and slowed it down. This was enough for Matěl Plch to catch the ball and kick it with his toe just before the Prague team goalkeeper. The equalizing goal encouraged the Avoy MU Brno players to engage in further attacks. Lukáš Valer began to return with Matěj Plch, so the goalkeeper passed most balls to the sidekick to the always ready Aleš Martinec. His valour and movement caused trouble to BFC Prague defence and he was fouled by Tomáš Hromádka after one of his attempts. The direct kick from ten meters from the goal was executed by Aleš Moravec and Matěj Plch, with a wall of three players against them. The latter received the ball from a short pass and he made two steps with it. Meanwhile, the wall stepped apart and Matěj Plch used the opportunity when he hit a gap between two defence players. The ball fell to the left pole and Avoy MU Brno players could celebrate a leading goal 11 minutes before the end of the match. BFC Prague didn't manage to resist anymore and all their attempts on attack failed against the opponent's concentrated and thorough defence.

Thanks to the 2-1 win, Avoy MU Brno now occupies the same position in the table as the opponent, leaving everyone curious about the result of the third round of the league, which should take place in Prague at the end of April, this time on an outdoor field.

BFC Praha line-up: goalkeeper Edita Millerová, players: Zdeněk Barlok, David Berenreiter, Vladimír Bodiš, Tomáš Hromádka, Ondřej Kodet, Petra Schejbalová, Lukáš Valer, assistant behind the goal: Petra Paďourová, coach: Michal Rokusek.

Stuttgart Open 2011

11 and 12 March 2011, Stuttgart

The team Avoy MU Brno participated in Stuttgart Open, an international team tournament on 11 and 12 March 2011. Along with the Brno team and the hosting team of MTV Stuttgart, two more teams from Germany (Eintracht Braunschweig, VfB Gelsenkirchen), Pyrsos Thessaloniki from Greece and RNC Hereford from England took part. House and board were provided in Nikolauspflege, a school for visually impaired.

Lukáš Valer, Tomáš Hromádka and Edita Millerová of BFC Prague accepted the invitation to participate in the tournament from the Avoy MU Brno and they joined five players (Jiří Fenz, Jan Hegr, Katka Lingová, Pavel Ondra, Matěj Plch), the goalkeeper Martin Jelínek, the assistant Jitka Graclíková and coaches Milan Duda, Lukáš Másilko and Lukáš Pazderka from Brno. The team, with a financial support from Masaryk University, travelled to the venue by three cars one day before the beginning, on Thursday, 10 March. The Czechs were the only with accommodation outside the Nikolauspflege complex, in a nearby three floor house standardly designated for students of the school. It must be said that they were extremely satisfied.

However, the important events took place in a sports centre about 500 metres from Nikolauspflege which serves soccer players, and athletes as well and blind football players as the field is equipped with artificial grass of the fourth generation, the size of the field is 40 metres by 20 metres, with sidekicks delimiting the playing area along the longer sides. After the opening ceremony on Friday morning, blind football matches began at full blast. The ballot placed Avoy MU Brno to a group of three teams together with MTV Stuttgart and RNC Hereford. As it turned out, these opponents were rather difficult, as both teams eventually made it to the finals of the tournament.

The opening match was played by Avoy MU Brno and RNC Hereford, currently a the English league leader. Czechs were not intimidated and played a balanced match. In the first half-time, there were chances on both sides. Lukáš Valer and Matěj Plch were the most dangerous players from Brno, while Hereford counted on its tall forward Dan English who made a lot of trouble to the Brno defense, with Martin Jelínek as the goalkeeper. The goals were scored in the second half-time, and it was Dan English who opened the score. Avoy MU Brno, unfortunately, was not able to respond, primarily due to the opponent's better defense and they did not have as many chances as in the first half-time. Lukáš Valer had the greatest chance to equalize. Five minutes before the end he was attacked and as this was Hereford's fourth foul, a penalty shot from eight metres was ordered by the referrees. Lukáš executed the shot himself and the goalkeeper blocked the ball with difficulties towards the post. The final decision was made in the very ending of the match following Martin Jelínek's mistake as he touched the ball outside the goalmouth. A player from Hereford luckily scored from the penalty shot as the Brno goalkeeper touched the ball but did not manage to block it. The final score of the match was 0–2.

In the next match, the Brno team played with the team MTV Stuttgart, from which it had received a humiliating defeat of 0 - 10 one year earlier. The German player, influenced by the previous match, began lukewarmly and so they could not be surprised that Avoy MU Brno kept pace. Unfortunately, the lineup of MTV Stuttgart includes a player with the number 10, Vedat Sarikay, who surpasses all the rest in the speed of dribbling and shooting technique. All other teams had problems stopping him, too. Vedat scored twice in the first half-time and many of his great chances were stopped by the great goalkeeper Martin Jelínek. A goal scored by Lukáš Valer thus must have shocked the German players, after a chance following a hand pass by the Avoy MU Brno goalkeeper. Lukáš passed around the defence and kicked the ball precisely near the right post. It was clear that Stuttgart players did not expect such a development and the coach Ulrich Pfisterer had to radically speak up. The German team, however, did not let anyone have doubts and added another goal after the interval, scored by Vedat. Towards the end of the match, the score was secured by the Stuttgart team captain, Mulghet Russom and the final score of the match was 1–4. The Brno team players cannot be reproached for anything - especially the defence, headed by Katka Lingová, was working at the top of possibilities and it did not make it any easier for Stuttgart to win, quite to the contrary. It was Matěj Plch's sprained ankle which caused regret to the Brno team coaches, as it put the pillar of the Avoy MU Brno team out of the game.

Two defeats in the group meant a match for the fifth place, which was played against Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday. It became clear that injured Matěj Plch was significantly missing. Jiří Fenz could not fully substitute for him and the forward thus depended solely on Lukáš Valer. The opening of the match was successful and Lukáš opened the score after a few minutes when he made it behind the defence and shot through the goalkeeper. Braunschweig was harmless at this stage of the match and the Brno defence easily stopped its few attempts to attack. At the end of the first half-time, there was one of the key moments when the referees erroneously whistled Katka Lingová's foul in the penalty area - the Braunschweig player fell on his own when he tried to hit the bouncing ball. The opponent of the Brno team did not refuse the chance and equalized. The referees' performance in the match was overall poor and they crowned it with another erroneous judgement in the second half-time. Lukáš Valer was storming towards the opponent's goal and a defence player was in his way, who forgot to say "Voy". A crash in the penalty area followed, but the referees ordered a direct kick instead of a penalty shot. However, at this moment, this was an isolated attempt of the Brno team. Four players of the German team defence often guarded Lukáš Valer and they caused trouble to the Avoy MU Brno team defence. The overloaded defence of the Brno team did not manage to react in time to passing the ball from one side to another and the opponent's forwards were often alone before Martin Jelínek in a promising position. Martin backed up his team for a long time, but he still did not cope with a shot. Avoy MU Brno lost 1–2 and occupied the last, sixth place.

The winner's trophy was captured by the host team that beat the Hereford team 3 - 1. The Greeks were the third when they defeated VfB Gelsenkirchen. Still, the performance of Avoy MU Brno was valued favourably, which is illustrated by the fact that the forward Lukáš Valer and the goalkeeper Martin Jelínek made it into the tournament all-stars team.

Avoy MU Brno lineup: goalkeeper Martin Jelínek, player: Jiří Fenz, Jan Hegr, Katka Lingová, Pavel Ondra, Matěj Plch, Tomáš Hromádka, Lukáš Valer (both guests from BFC Praha), assistant behind the goal: Jitka Graclíková, coach: Milan Duda.

Overview:

  1. Avoy MU Brno RNC Hereford: 0-2 (0-0)
  2. Avoy MU Brno MTV Stuttgart: 1-4 (1-2), scorer: Valer
  3. Avoy MU Brno Eintracht Braunschweig: 1-2 (1-1), scorer: Valer

League match in Prague – third round

1 May 2011, Praha, Březíněves

The players of BFC Prague and Avoy MU Brno celebrated the Labor Day in their own way when they played a duel of the third round of the league in Březíněves, the home pitch of the Prague team. Both teams were almost complete as only Tomáš Hromádka of the Prague team was missing due to a recovery after a surgery of his broken nose. The weather was nice during the match and there were approximately twenty viewers who were watching an enjoyable game.

The third meeting of both teams followed a traditional pattern. The first half-time belonged to the Prague team while the Brno team tried to catch up with the loss by one goal. BFC Prague played it big in the beginning again and went into the lead in the seventh minute when the crack shot Lukáš Valer successfully applied his skills. He found the free ball five meters from the Brno goalkeeper Martin Jelínek and scored with a hard shot just below the crossbar of the Brno team's goal. The guests were taken by surprise and harmless in the rest of the first half-time. They could further be thankful to the goalkeeper who neutralized another big chance. Martin Jelínek shined after a shot by the forward Zdeněk Barlok who had received an ideal pass from Valer and had enough time to finish the action close to the Brno goal.

In the second half-time, the players of Avoy MU Brno worked hard and they created several chances. Matěj Plch presented a good shot, which was neutralized by Edita Millerová in the BFC Prague goal. It was however Aleš Moravec who presented the greatest threat for the defence of the Prague team when he got into several good positions due to his good mobility. In most cases these only remained chances as he had problems with the ball towards the end of his actions and he lost opportunities to shoot. It should be added that both teams' defences worked more than reliably. Lukáš Valer didn't manage to get into a scoring position due to the well working due of Katka Lingová and Jan Hegr. On the other side of the pitch, the BFC Prague defence was directed by Ondřej Kodet who had an excellent performance and made the forwards of the Brno team desperate. Actively fore-checking, he intercepted many of their balls, and they couldn't run with the ball towards the opponent's goal. The Brno team did not manage to equalize. They also lost one chance due to the referees who did not whistle a foul of the goalkeeper Edita Millerová, who tried to stop the ball moving on the boarder of the penalty area and played with her hand outside of it.

BFC Prague thus won 1–0 and confirmed the temporary dominance of teams playing home. The next match will probably take place in late August, when both team participate a summer workshop in Bučovice.

BFC Praha line-up: goalkeeper Edita Millerová, players: Zdeněk Barlok, David Berenreiter, Vladimír Bodiš, Ondřej Kodet, Radek Kratochvíl, Petra Schejbalová, Lukáš Valer, goal assistant: Petra Paďourová, coach: Michal Rokusek.

Avoy MU Brno line-up: goalkeeper Martin Jelínek, players: Jiří Fenz, Jan Hegr, Katka Lingová, Aleš Moravec, Pavel Ondra, Matěj Plch, goal assistant: Jitka Graclíková, coach: Milan Duda.

Seminar on blind football for beginner players and coaches

5 and 6 July 2011, Bučovice

Seminar leader: Gabriel Mayr

Gabriel Mayr organized a seminar on blind football at the stadium "Andrův stadion" in Olomouc in June 2008. With the assistance of Zbyněk Janečka (Palacký university, Olomouc) and Jan Příborský (Tyflocentrum Olomouc), he introduced the sport to the Czech public for the first time. Representatives of Avoy MU Brno and BFC Prague attending this event saw it as an impulse to begin with active coaching activities.

Gabriel returned to the "crime scene" three years later and this time, there were two planned visits to the Czech Republic. The first one was for a week from 4 to 10 July, when he was the leader of the seminar for beginner players and coaches is Bučovice and of a weekend practice of the BFC Prague team. He will come back again in late August to take part in a summer workshop organized by Avoy MU Brno coaches for the players of both Czech teams.

The seminar for beginner players and coaches lasted two days. Early afternoon on Tuesday, 5 July, was dedicated to the basics. Seven blind players and one future coach practices passing, reception, dribbling and shooting. With the assistance of Avoy MU Brno coaches they also played a game at the end.

Gabriel opened the second day with a short summary of the rules of the game, emphasizing the role of the sighted guides as active participants in the game greatly influencing the team's performance and the result. A series of entertaining practices followed. The participants tested their passing accuracy, their awareness of the general layout of the field (the location of the penalty shot mark and of the halfway line), their ability of one time shots and reception of ground balls. At the end of the day, Gabriel included a practice focused on defensive skills and player formations.

The organizers viewed the event as an opportunity to draft new players and, as such, it served its purpose as three newbies expressed their interest in blind football. Avoy MU Brno coaches count on these newbies for the summer workshop in August.

Summer Camp in Bučovice

23-29 August 2011, Bučovice

The traditional summer blind football camp took place in Bučovice near Slavkov in 2011 with the attendance of almost all players of both Czech teams - Avoy MU Brno and BFC Prague. The Brno team of coaches with the help of Gabriel Mayr and Michal Rokusek (BFC Prague) lead a group of 17 visually impaired footballers, ordaining a two-phase training in the hall and on the kickboard-equipped outdoor field on the grounds of Školní 710 Primary school in Bučovice. The participants lodged in Arkáda Motel and dined in Vinárna U Šembery.

They attended five training units in the sweltering heat from Tuesday to Thursday, where they practiced basic blind football skills as well as learned a lot concerning the game tactics. Friday 26 August was a free day and the participants were resting in their rooms or at the outdoor swimming pool in Bučovice. They discussed the rules of blind football with Gabriel Mayr and Lukáš Másilko in the evening.

Saturday 27 August was primarily about the fourth match of the league, but Petra Lásková couldn't play due to her injury. This is why the organizers called the Sunday friendly tournament Petra Lásková Memorial. Matěj Plch's team won with two wins in the first two matches and they also managed the final against Lukáš Valer's team after a penalty shootout. The last training took place on Monday 29 August in the morning. However, a number of players were very tired, so the meeting involved looking back at and evaluating the whole week that had been successful according to what the participants said.

League Match in Bučovice - 4th round

27 August 2011, Bučovice

Another round of the league season was played on neutral grounds in Bučovice where both Czech teams participated in the summer blind football camp. There is a relatively new kickboards-equipped field on the premises of Školní 710 Primary school, praised by players of both teams. While Avoy MU Brno entered the game with its strongest line-up, BFC Prague had to enlist a new goalkeeper Martin Procházka to balance out Edita Millerová's absence, and overcome Onřej Kodet's absence.

The first half-time was levelled and both teams' defences excelled. So only the traditional shooters, Matěj Plch of Avoy MU Brno and Lukáš Valer of BFC Prague go to shoot on the goal and the latter had the first chance in the fifth minute. The Brno team shooter didn't score from his chance when he hit the post after a free kick in the 20th minute. The defence of Avoy MU Brno wasn't quite concentrated towards the end of the first half-time and it only held the nil thanks to the goalkeeper Martin Jelínek as Lukáš Valer had three clear chances within the last two minutes. Each time, the ball missed all defenders of Brno and the Prague forward could find it near the Avoy MU Brno goalkeeper. Twice did Martin Jelínek block out the shots and once he was assisted by the post.

The beginning of the second half-time was much calmer with fewer chances on both sides. Jan Mrázek played his first match for Avoy MU Brno presenting his good positional game in the defence and blocking Prague forwards' shots on several occasions. Spectators waited to see the first goal to the ninth minute. Lukáš Valer stimulated his team-mates with the words "Eight and half minutes more and we'll score!" However, he did score much earlier. Zdeněk Barlok sent the ball to the opposite kickboard where Lukáš Valer received it and then headed towards Martin Jelínek's goal. Lukáš Valer avoided all defence players and gained enough time to aim at the opposite post. The ball bounced off the post into the goal and the team BFC Prague took the lead 1−0.

Avoy MU Brno could soon equalize from a 7-meter free kick after Jiři Sedláček's foul. Matěj Plch's shot was blocked by the goalkeeper Martin Procházka. Then, the game moved to the mid-field and Avoy MU Brno players began to be nervous. At 48:33 of the playing time, they were lucky. Matěj Plch won the ball by the kickboard and he took out to the opponent's side from the half-line. He finished his attack with a bad shot missing the goal but the Prague goalkeeper Martin Procházka unluckily knocked the ball into the net of his goal. This goal took BCF Prague players by surprise and another catastrophe followed a minute later. The opponent's execution was directed by Matěj Plch whose good shot left the BFC Prague goalkeeper with no chance. He was probably inspired by Lukáš Valer's plan as he scored the decisive goal 23 seconds before the final blow. BFC Prague didn't manage to react within this short time, but the Brno players needed to worry about the win. Lukáš Valer overcame the defence right after the kick-off and he only failed when he missed Martin Jelínek's goal.

The final score of the match match was 2−1 for Avoy MU Brno. Both teams have an equal overall score with two wins and two losses.

BFC Praha line-up: goalkeeper Martin Procházka, players: Zdeněk Barlok, David Berenreiter, Tomáš Hromádka, Jiří Sedláček, Petra Schejbalová, Lukáš Valer, guide: Petra Paďourová, coach: Michal Rokusek.

League Match in Brno - 5th round

25 September 2011, Primary School Bednářova 28, Brno

The fifth league round was played on the field of the Primary School Bednářova in Brno, Horní Heršpice. Avoy MU Brno hosted the incomplete team BFC Prague that arrived with just four field players, Michal Rokusek as the goalie and coach rolled into one and Michal Borek as the guide behind the goal. Other members of the team didn't come for health or family reasons. On the contrary, the Brno team was complete and, as it showed later, in a good shape.

Previous four league matches were balanced and the spectators could see thrilling battles often decided in the last minutes of the game. This time, Brno fans experienced a calm match, as their team got into lead shortly after the game started. The Brno marksman, Matěj Plch, was bending it again! First, Aleš Moravec sent him an accurate pass by the left hand side kickboard in the 4th minute. Matěj received the ball and shot from a great angle through Michal Rokusek guarding the BFC Prague goal. Towards the end of the first half-time, Matěj made good use of his offensive vigour and he pushed the ball, which was in motion just before the opponent's penalty area, behind the helpless Michal Rokusek. On the other side of the field, it was mainly Lukáš Valer who was causing trouble, but the Brno defense guarded him attentively and only let him shoot from greater distances or unfavourable positions. The lead gave confidence to all players of Avoy MU Brno, so along with Matěj Plch, other forwards, Jiří Fenz and Aleš Moravec, tried to threaten the opponent's goal, too. Michal Rokusek however performed several good saves and kept his team's hope for a turnover.

Matěj Plch added his third score and completed his hat-trick soon after the interval, in 8th minute. After the goalkeeper Martin Jelínek hand passed the ball, Plch stormed by two defense players on the left and shot towards the opposite post, leaving Rokusek with no chance. It needs to be pointed out that the other side was heated, too, as Lukáš Valer was trying to add some drama to the game. Martin Jelínek was against it and he saved all Valer's attempts, once with the help of one of the well-placed posts of his goal. As Avoy MU Brno was convincingly leading by three goals, the guests also scored a goal of honour. Lukáš Valer got to the ball in the opponent's penalty area and because he had enough time to receive and process the ball, he left Martin Jelínek with no chance.

The final score was 3-1, with the home team Avoy MU Brno taking the win, whose players showed a good collective performance supported with Matěj Plch' exceptional productivity. After the fifth league match, the Brno team holds three wins and is leading the chart. BFC Prague still has a chance to win the league cup, but it must beat its opponent by at least two goals in the sixth match of the league.

League Match in Prague, Březiněves - 6th round

13 November 2011, Prague, Březiněves

The last league round was played as late as in mid-November and all participants were worried about the weather. Luckily, their worries proved to be false as the sun was shining during the match and although it wasn't exactly hot, all players warmed up by the movement on the pitch. This wasn't the case with substitute players, coaches and spectators who need to be thanked for their support despite their freezing hands and chattering teeth. The Czech television and its reporter Michaela Poláková were shooting at the spot. The report is available on the television's web site as a part of the Bohemians Prague vs Slavia Prague match report, beginning at 51:09.

The match started at 2:45pm and the first half-time was goalless. Both teams had chances, but the traditional shooters, Lukáš Valer of BFC Prague and Matěj Plch of Avoy MU Brno, didn't score. The latter tried hard to keep the opponent's defense busy, lacking coolness in the final stage. Lukáš Valer was more dangerous by a degree. First, he got to the Avoy penalty area with the ball and it was Martin Jelínek's devoted save that spoiled the coming score. He even hit the opponent's post around halfway into the first half-time. After a direct kick, he waited for the three-part defensive wall of Avoy to open up and fired a killer ball at the opponent's goal. After that, he could only hear the Brno team goalkeeper calming down his teammates with a stunned voice: "Luck!"

The pitch in Březiněves is equipped with a brand new playing surface which one could tell especially in the second half. The players couldn't hear the ball so well in the high grass and as the surface was becoming even more wet, the ball was difficult to control and ever bouncing away. The Prague team needed to win by at least two goals to get to the penalty shootout that would decide about the winner of the first league season. With the elapsing time, BFC Prague players were becoming more nervous. Lukáš Valer didn't get into any greater chances and the Avoy MU Brno defense was precise and took good care of the dangerous adversary. The remaining Prague players were busy covering Matěj Plch who awakened in the second half-time. His boot sent out a warning first, too. At the boundary of the penalty area, he hid his shot behind the defense and Edita Milnerová was thankful to have put up her goal well, because it was only the post that stopped the ball. The final decision was made nine minutes before the end. BFC Prague defenders Vladimír Bodiš and Jiří Sedláček didn't come to an agreement as to who would go for the ball moving around the second penalty shot mark. Matěj Plch thus took the ball without their attention and then, Petra Schejbalová was the only one remaining in his way. Just before her, he shot towards the left post leaving Edita Millerová in the opponent's goal with no chance. The Prague team couldn't respond and so the final score of the match was 1-0 for Avoy MU Brno.

Avoy MU Brno captain Katka Lingová received the Cup for the First place in the 2011 initial league season. Symbolically, she got the trophy from the Prague team leader Zdeněk Barlok who could only watch the game due to health issues. Matěj Plch of Brno was announced as the best shooter of the season with eight scores, unchallenged mainly in the last two games by Lukáš Valer with six scores. Petra Schejbalová (BFC Prague) received the Fair-Play Prize, and the All-Star Team lineup came out and granted medals to the following: forwards Matěj Plch and Lukáš Valer, defenders Ondřej Kodet and Katka Lingová, goalkeeper Martin Jelínek. Forever young Aleš Moravec was also rewarded as his performance is excellent at his age and he is a good example for the younger players.
