International tournament in Belgium
March 18-19, 2017, Brussels
Participating teams: Avoy MU Brno (Czech Republic), FC St. Pauli (Germany), Five-A-Side Anderlecht (Belgium)
After a long winter, the footballers from Avoy MU Brno accepted the invitation to the first international tournament in Brussels organized by the Brussels 5-a-side Anderlecht team. Out of the original five invited teams and the organizers' last-minute efforts to secure any other European team, only the organizing team, Hamburg FC St. Pauli and Avoy ended up competing at the RSC Anderlecht ground. All three teams know each other quite well, so everyone knew in advance what to expect. During the two-day tournament, each team faced each opponent twice. In addition, they all had to face the rain in Saturday's games.
The first match of the tournament was unluckily lost by Avoy MU Brno against the hosts Brussels 5-a-side Anderlecht 1-2. The goals were scored by Kevin Vanderborght and Alexandre Wespes, the Belgian net was shaken after a shot by Lukáš Valer.
In the second match, the Brno team was not too confident, St. Pauli came with the strongest possible line-up and were full of energy. But in the first period, it turned out that the experience with the surface from the previous game helped the Brno team, and luck was on their side. The Avoy MU Brno players left the first half with a three-goal lead, which was again taken care of by Lukáš Valer. In the second half, the Germans only managed to reduce the score to the final 3-1 thanks to the incredible saves of Brno goalkeeper Vladimír Vaďura.
In the last match on Saturday between St. Pauli and Anderlecht, none of the players managed to score in a very even match and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
The 1-0 win over Anderlecht in the first match on Sunday was again taken care of by Paul Ruge from St. Pauli, who crossed the field at an incredible pace and gave Adrien Bonaert no chance. This gave St. Pauli their first win and made the tournament all the more exciting.
On Sunday, the Avoy MU Brno team was not so lucky. Alexander Wespes managed to score twice and the home team secured the gold medals with a 2-0 victory, leaving the Brno team to fight for silver in the next match against the Germans.
In the opening minutes of the last game of the tournament, Jan Mrazek finally broke through with an uncatchable shot that beat Tim Tronschel. Unfortunately, in the second half, thanks to inexperienced referees, Jonathan Tönsing managed to equalise at the moment when the referee and the Brno goalkeeper moved the goal. Despite the best efforts on both sides, nobody managed to reverse the 1-1 result and St. Pauli leapfrogged Avoy in the table by a point to win the silver medals.
For Avoy MU Brno, the tournament in Brussels was a great start of the season, and Brno's lucky 13 (Lukáš Valer) earned the trophy of the best scorer of the tournament. The tournament in Brussels then became the first international playing experience for new Avoy player Jan Bang.

Euro 2017 Qualification Tournament in Germany
The qualification tournament for the 2017 European Championship for blind futsal players in Germany took place in Bacau, Romania, at the beginning of April. The event was attended by the Czech national team led by Jiří Kotrč and consisting of players from BSC Praha and Avoy MU Brno. In their group matches, the Czechs were sovereign and defeated Moldova by the same score of 2-1 and, after a fighting performance, surprisingly also Greece, long-time participants of European championships. A win in the semi-finals would have qualified them for the Euros, but unfortunately they eventually lost 1-4 to the Romanians, the later winners of the tournament, in a long, thrilling battle. In the final match for 3rd place against Greece they were no longer able to keep up with their opponents and after losing 2-5 they finished in 4th place. All the goals were scored by Lukáš Valer, who was ably assisted in defence by Brno players Vojta Polášek, Aleš Moravec and Tomáš Bukovský in goal.
IBSA Women's Blind Football Training and Tournament
May 3-7, 2017, Vienna
In early May, 75 participants from 16 countries and three continents gathered in Vienna for an event organised by the International Blind Sports Association in cooperation with UEFA: the IBSA Women's Blind Football Training and Tournament. The organizing team included two Czech women and members of our team, Jitka Graclíková and Silvie Hrbáčková. As the name suggests, the event was primarily for girls and women. The Japanese national team, a team from Russia, England, Greece and individual players, coaches, navigators, referees from most European countries came to Vienna. The two-day training session was led by British National Team coach Jonathan Pugh, with four teams competing against each other on the final day:
- Japan,
- Russia/Canada,
- Greece/Great Britain, and
- Team RED as the most international, with the Austrians, Germans, Danes, Belgians, French, Portuguese, Swedes battling side by side, with Jitka Graclíková taking care of navigation.
In the final, an unfortunate goal by the Japanese women finally won over the red team, with third place decided by penalty kicks, when luck was on the side of the selection of players from Greece and Great Britain.

Eins-Energy Cup 2017
May 13, 2017, Chemnitz (Germany)
Participating teams: Chemnitzer FC, Berlin/Munich, FC St. Pauli von 1910 e.V., Tyniecka NPW Kraków, Avoy MU Brno
On the second weekend of May, the players of Avoy MU Brno went to Chemnitz. They took part, for the sixth time, in the traditional Eins Energy Cup tournament, this time coming to defend their gold medals from last year. The tournament was played on a one-on-one basis, so each team had four matches in one day. This time they chose a castle in Augustusburg, less than 15 km from Chemnitz, as their sleeping place.
In the first match, the Brno team entered against the weakest players from Munich and Berlin. Within 40 minutes they managed to score six goals, which were scored by Lukáš Valer, Jan Mrázek and for the first time our Benjamín Jan Bango scored internationally from a penalty kick.
The second game took a slightly different turn for Avoy. The Czechs went into the match against Krakow with the need to win calmly and save their strength for the toughest two opponents to come next. However, in the second minute Marcin Ryczka put the Poles in the lead with an uncatchable shot and Avoy had no choice but to pull out all the stops and at least equalise. This was only achieved two minutes before the end from a penalty kick for Lukasz Valer, who equalised at 1-1. A minute later, a few seconds before the end from another penalty kick, the Czechs won the match with a second goal and Avoy took three points for the win.
In the third match, the Brno team faced Hamburg FC St. Pauli. In a fairly even game, the best player of the tournament, 18-year-old Paul Ruge, unfortunately made two brilliant saves. In both cases, he got the ball into the box and shot venomously from there. Buky in the goal of Avoy MU Brno did not get a chance to reverse the result of the match 0:2.
Thirty minutes of rest and Avoy entered their last match of the tournament against long-time home rivals Chemnitzer FC. Jörg Fetzer put the Germans ahead in the first few minutes of the match. By the end of the first half, Lukas Valera managed to level the score at 1-1. Unfortunately, Avoy couldn't hold the result and David Lippmann won the silver medal for his team just before the end of the match.

Sports games for visually impaired youth
June 6, 2017, Opava
At the beginning of June we presented futsal for blind children within the Sports Games for visually impaired children held in Opava. The event was attended by 65 children from all over the Czech Republic and we can't wait for some of them to start playing football. We enjoyed it very much and we thank the organizers very much for the invitation and for the opportunity to present.
Bučovice Blind Football Cup
June 17-18, 2017, Bučovice
In June 2017 we organized the 5th anniversary edition of the international tournament - Bučovice Blind Football Cup 2017. Seven teams from six European countries took part in it, Belgian Five-a-side Anderlecht, two German teams FC St. Pauli Hamburg, SF Blau-Gelb Marburg, Swedish MIK Sound, Greek Asamea Keravnos, Polish Tyniecka NWP Kraków, Czech organizing team Avoy MU Brno, plus a team from overseas, Colombians Futbal Ciegos Cundinamarca.
We kept the tournament system from previous years, which included group matches and a thrilling knockout part. Spectators and participants of the event could once again listen to professional commentary of each match with the help of borrowed headphones or follow online statistics of the tournament. We also thought of the blind futsal fans who could not attend our tournament. We offered them the opportunity to watch live and commentary coverage of all the matches of the tournament.
The trophy was awarded to the players of Five-a-side Anderlecht, who managed to defend the offensive attacks of the Colombians in the final and beat them on penalties.

Central European League 2017/18, Round 1
September 1-3, 2017, Wroclaw (Poland)
Participating teams: Sprint Wroclaw (Poland), Tyniecka NWP Krakow (Poland), Avoy MU Brno (Czech Republic), BSC Prague (Czech Republic), LÁSS Budapest (Hungary)
The Central European League, which has grown since the last edition with the addition of the second Polish team Tyniecka NWP Kraków and the Moravian team Avoy MU Brno, started in Wroclaw, Poland on the first weekend of September. In five league weekends organized successively in Wroclaw, Prague, Krakow, Budapest and Brno, both Polish teams Sprint Wroclaw and Tyniecka Krakow, both Czech teams BSC Prague and Avoy MU Brno and the only Hungarian team LÁSS Budapest will compete against each other. Each league weekend is played on a one-team-versus-one-team system, so each team will play four matches during the weekend.
Right after the opening kick-off, the Hungarians took on Tyniecka Krakow from Poland. Krakow's Paralympian Marcin Ryszko managed to score only once and the match ends with a 1-0 Polish win. LÁSS Budapest vs Tyniecka NWP Krakow 0-1.
The home team Sprint Wroclaw took on Avoy MU Brno in the second match. The home team didn't get many chances, Jan Mrazek secured 3 points for his team only in the second half of the match. Avoy MU Brno vs Sprint Wroclaw 1-0.
It was a tough Saturday for the Hungarians as they wanted to play all four matches in one day, so after an hour break they played against BSC Praha. The Prague goalkeeper was not himself, as he let 4 goals into his net in 40 minutes. Just before the end of the match Tomas Sustr managed to reduce the score. BSC Prague vs LÁSS Budapest 1-4.
In the next match Avoy MU Brno and Tyniecka Krakow played against each other. The match was very even, the Brno team was very good in defense, goalkeeper Tomas Bukovsky saved the situation in extreme emergency. At the beginning of the second half, Brno captain Jan Mrázek managed to get through again and directed the winning shot to the right post. Avoy MU Brno vs Tyniecka NWP Krakow 1-0.
After the lunch break, the players from Budapest played their third match against the home team. The match ended in a goalless draw forty minutes later. LÁSS Budapest vs Sprint Wroclaw 0-0.
After the goalless draw, the fans could enjoy four goals in the following match between BSC Praha and Tyniecka Krakow. The Poles proved how hard they trained all summer and after Martin Jung's hat-trick and another goal by Marcin Ryszka they added 3 important points to the table. BSC Praha vs Tyniecka Krakow 0-4.
In the last match on Saturday, Hungarian LÁSS Budapest and Avoy MU Brno played against each other. The Brno goalkeeper did not touch the ball for the whole match, while on the other side Nagy Atesz was definitely not bored in the Budapest goal. However, the match ended in a goalless draw and both teams gained one point each in the table. LÁSS Budapest vs Avoy MU Brno 0-0.
On Sunday there were only two duels, Polish and Czech. At nine in the morning the home team from Wroclaw and their Polish rivals from Krakow faced each other. In the first half, Kraków were the winners twice after goals from Martin Jung. The home side managed to reduce the deficit a few minutes before the end, but it was not enough to get any points. Tyniecka Krakow vs Sprint Wroclaw 2-1.
The weekend ended with an unfortunate goalless draw for Avoy MU Brno, as they failed to break through against the stiff defence of BSC Prague despite their best efforts. Avoy MU Brno vs BSc Praha 0-0.

Blind Football Masters in Hamburg
In mid-September, the traditional Blind Football Masters tournament organized by FC St. Pauli took place in Hamburg. 8 teams fought first in the groups and then in the play-offs. Our team, strengthened by Keryn Seal, faced the later winners, Euro All Stars, in group B. They lost 0-2. However, we picked up points in the next matches, beating Marburg 3-0 and drawing with Dortmund 1-1. Thanks to this we advanced to the semi-finals, where we lost 0-5 to St. Pauli. We then played an abbreviated 3rd place match in the rain in which we beat the Greeks from Asamea Keravnos 1-0. Three goals were scored by Jan Mrazek and two by Keryn Seal. The goal of Avoy MU Brno was defended by Tomáš Bukovský, in the field played besides both scorers also Jan Bango, Ondřej Gottlieb, Vojtěch Polášek and Michal Petráš.

Central European League 2017/18, 2nd round
September 29 to October 1, 2017, Prague
Participating teams: Sprint Wroclaw (Poland), Tyniecka NWP Krakow (Poland), Avoy MU Brno (Czech Republic), BSC Prague (Czech Republic), LÁSS Budapest (Hungary)
The participating teams of the Central European League gathered in Prague to play the 2nd round of this year-long tournament. The weather was extremely kind to the players and spectators, all Saturday and Sunday in the style of Indian summer.
The opening match was played by Avoy MU Brno against the organizer of the tournament, BSC Prague. Both sides were missing their top scorers, Jan Mrazek was only on his way to Prague, Lukáš Valer was unable to attend. There was not much to see in the first half. It was only just before the half-time break that Brno midfielder Jan Bango scored. From the left side he dribbled away from the defenders and with a shot to the opposite bar he beat Ondrej Kričfaluši in the Prague goal. In the second half the Prague team tried to equalize, especially Tomas Myslivecek got into several promising situations, but the Brno defence led by Tomas Bukovsky worked reliably and did not allow the equalization. Unfortunately, after one of the fights with the opponent's defence, Prague defender Tomáš Šustr unluckily stepped on his knee and tore ligaments in his knee. He had to withdraw from the game and did not take part in further weekend fights. His absence turned out to be a big loss for the Prague team. Avoy MU Brno did not score in the fifth match and took three points for the closest victory 1-0.
Jan Mrázek arrived for the next match against Sprint Wroclaw. The Brno team pushed their opponent to the defensive half, but were not effective in the end. Both Ondřej Gottlieb and Jan Mrázek shot inaccurately. Towards the end of the first half, however, the Brno team did break through, helped by a mistake by the Polish goalkeeper, who crossed his goal line. Ondřej Gottlieb converted the penalty kick, but his hard shot was knocked into the net by the goalkeeper. Shortly afterwards, Jan Mrazek calmed his teammates down with another goal as he finally capitalized on one of his many actions in the first half. Ondřej Gottlieb came on at the beginning of the second half, fighting a virus. Both substitutes, Aleš Moravec and Michal Petráš, came on. Finally, Jan Mrázek came on and literally toyed with the opponent's defense and scored three more goals. Especially his third goal is worth mentioning. After a corner kick, he surprised three Polish defenders by not going in an arc around the penalty area, but heading it through them. After he neatly "sailed" between them, he headed to the far post. To the admiring words of his teammates, he responded laconically, "That's how Keryn taught me!" The match with Sprint Vratislav ended in a 5-0 victory.
The next matches showed that the host team really missed Tomas Shustr, and BSC Praha did not get a point from all three matches. On the other hand, the biggest competitor of Avoy MU Brno, the Polish team from Krakow, lost points in a draw with the Hungarian LÁSS Budapest.
The last match of the day brought together the two biggest favourites to win the tournament, Avoy MU Brno and Tyniecka NWP Krakow. In the first half it was mainly a battle of defences, players of both teams had a lot of strength, so there were few chances. The Brno team took the lead when Jan Mrazek got through after his typical action. From the left side he managed to break through three defenders and finished to the bar. The Poles equalised at the end of the first half. After a badly played direct kick, Brno lost the ball in the attacking half. Martin Jung handled it on the halfway line. His quick run was not intercepted by any of the Avoy MU Brno defenders. The Polish striker then shot in the face of Tomas Bukovski and the ball found its way into the net. It is fair to say that the Poles were the more dangerous team in the second half. However, Jan Bango played a great game, reliably intercepting the opponent's passes and taking the ball to safety. The Poles did have the ball in their possession more often and created a few chances. However, they couldn't convert any of them and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Tomas Bukovsky scored for the first time in his team's 7th match in the Central European League!
The first match on Sunday belonged to Avoy MU Brno and LÁSS Budapest. The Hungarians proved that they, like the Brno team, can defend well, as they have only scored twice in their seven matches so far. Sunday's match between the two teams confirmed that. Both Hungarian strikers made honest comebacks in the first half and Jan Mrazek attacked against a well-consolidated and mobile defence. The shooting positions Jan Mrazek got into were very tricky and unprepared. Moreover, Ondrej Gottlieb couldn't help his friend, he didn't start at all due to illness. On the other hand, the Czech defence worked flawlessly and the half ended without any goals. After the break, the Hungarian team's stiff defence eased up and the forwards didn't help the defenders as much, creating gaps in their defence. Jan Mrazek finally took advantage of one of them. Goalkeeper Tomas Bukovsky worked the ball in his goal area, sent a long pass with his foot to the attacking half, where Jan intercepted it. Taking advantage of a momentary inattention of his defenders, he spun around them in a flash and gained the necessary lead for a calm dribble and finish. With a shot to the bar, he gave the Hungarian goalkeeper no chance and opened the scoring. A few minutes later, he scored a second time, again dribbling over the two-man defence of the opponent. The Hungarians did not have the strength to turn the game around and the match ended with Avoy MU Brno winning 2-0.
In the last match, the players of BSC Prague fought fiercely with their Polish counterparts from Krakow and won a valuable 1-1 draw. Tyniecka thus lost another point and in the overall Central European League table the Brno players have a 3 point lead over their biggest rival from Kraków. A successful weekend pleased everyone from Brno, Avoy MU Brno showed its strength and ranked among the biggest favorites for the overall victory in the Central European League. The next round will take place in Krakow in mid-November.

6th Sächsischer Blindenfußball-Cup 2017
October 20-22, 2017, Leipzig
Participating teams: 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig/Chemnitzer FC, FC St. Pauli, FC Viktoria Berlin, PSV Köln (all Germany), Tyniecka NPW Kraków (Poland), Avoy MU Brno (Czech Republic)
On the penultimate October election weekend, right after the recall, the Brno players went to the popular, already sixth annual international tournament Saxony Blind Football Cup. For the second time, the organisation was taken over by the football club 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, whose players this time teamed up with Chemnitzer FC. Both Czech teams were supposed to take part in the tournament for the first time, but at the last minute the Prague team BSC Praha had to cancel their participation and were replaced by youngsters from Viktoria Berlin. Avoy MU Brno entered the tournament with the difficult task of defending their gold medals for the third time in a row and taking another Leipzig Mayor's Cup to Brno. The system of the tournament remained the same, everyone played everyone else, so each team had five games to play.
Saturday
In the opening match of the tournament on Saturday, the home team from Leipzig and Chemnitz played against the Polish team Tyniecka Krakow. The Poles have made huge strides in two years and it showed in their play. The home team had no chances to turn the match score in their favour, so it was up to the German referees to help them by whistling fouls, which led to a penalty kick by David Lippmann that decided the outcome of the match. FC Lokomotive/Chemnitzer FC vs Tyniecka Krakow 1-0.
The most feared match of the tournament for the Brno team came right afterwards when they took on this year's German champions, FC St. Pauli from Hamburg. After a thrilling duel and chances on both sides, the match ended in a goalless draw - both teams took a point each. FC St. Pauli vs Avoy MU Brno 0-0.
In the next German match FC Viktoria Berlin and PSV Köln faced each other. Young promising Jonas Furhmann managed to get three points for his team with one goal. FC Viktoria Berlin vs PSV Köln 0-1.
In the next match, the German champions were unlucky to have a key player Paul Ruge injured in the first half and he remained on the bench for the rest of the tournament. The German champions finished the match against the home team without any goals. FC St. Pauli vs FC Lok./Chemnitzer FC 0-0.
Avoy MU Brno had only one match on Saturday, against FC Viktoria Berlin. Newcomer Tomáš Javorský got his first international experience in this match, taking the field with 7 minutes to go. It was in this match that the captain Jan Mrázek scored four times and Jan Bango added one more goal. Avoy MU Brno vs FC Viktoria Berlin 5-0.
On Saturday afternoon there were only two German matches on the schedule, in the first of which Cologne managed to win a point for a goalless draw against the home team and in the second the German champions added 3 points to the table for their victory against Viktoria Berlin. They were happy to score four times, with German international Rasmus Narjes scoring three times, and rookie Nick adding 1 goal from a penalty. However, the youngest participant in the tournament and the youngest ever participant in the German league, twelve-year-old Nico Rother, also scored a goal and was later voted the best player of the tournament.
PSV Köln vs FC Lok./Chemnitzer FC 0-0,
FC St. Pauli vs FC Viktoria Berlin 4-1.
As usual, the organizers prepared a non-football program for the tournament participants. In a light rain, everyone moved to the Leipzig Zoo, where we had the opportunity to touch snakes, hand-feed fish, touch koala fur and feathers of flamingos and penguins.
The standings in the table after Saturday's games looked very exciting and almost anyone could have won:
- FC St. Pauli led the table with 5 points on Saturday, but they only had two games on Sunday.
- FC Lokomotive/Chemnitzer FC also picked up five points during Saturday's matches, but also had only two chances to increase their points.
- Avoy MU Brno went into Sunday's games with four points and had three games to play.
- PSV Köln were in exactly the same position as the Brno team, only they had a worse score.
- The Poles also had three games on Sunday, but only picked up three points on Saturday.
- Unfortunately, FC Viktoria Berlin did not pick up a point on Saturday.
Sunday
An early wake-up call awaited the defending gold medalists and the Poles from Krakow on Sunday morning. In the first game on Sunday, the Poles started defensively and did not give Jan Mrazek a chance to shoot. In the second half, the Poles opened the game up a bit more, but basically the defense on both sides was so perfect that both goalkeepers Tomas Bukovsky and Krysztof Bednarkiewicz didn't have a chance to show how great goalkeepers they are. The game ended in a goalless draw and it started to look even more exciting. Tyniecka Kraków vs Avoy MU Brno 0-0.
The home team still didn't lose hope for the gold medals and in the next match they scored important three points after goals by David Lippmann and Jörg Fetzer against Viktoria Berlin. FC Lok./Chem. FC vs FC Viktoria Berlin 2-0.
After a short break, Avoy MU Brno were back in action, this time against players from Cologne. The Brno captain showed what great form he is in and added two more goals to his four from the game against Berlin. He gave the other scorers of the tournament practically no chance to catch him. The great defence, especially Jan Bango and Ondřej Gottlieb, is also worth mentioning. PSV Köln vs Avoy MU Brno 0-2.
The last four matches of the tournament unfortunately the spectators didn't see a single goal, so all of them scored a point for goalless draws and the Brno team reached the golden cup again, this time thanks to the best score.
The best players of the tournament
The best scorer of the tournament: Jan Mrázek (Avoy MU Brno), 6 goals
The best player of the tournament: Nico Rother (FC Viktoria Berlin), 1 goal

Central European League 2017/18, Round 3
November 10-12, 2017, Krakow
Participating teams: Sprint Wroclaw (Poland), Tyniecka NWP Krakow (Poland), Avoy MU Brno (Czech Republic), BSC Prague (Czech Republic), LÁSS Budapest (Hungary)
The 3rd round of the Central European League was exceptional because it was the first event of this kind for the city of Krakow, the organizing team Tyniecka NWP Krakow gave everything to the organization of this event and besides important points in the league tables, two more cups were fought for. The first was the cup of the Mayor of Krakow, Professor Jacek Majchrowski, the second was the cup for the Polish champion.
The opening of the third round took place in style with the Mayor of Krakow himself in attendance, but the organisers also managed to attract a huge number of fans. In the very first thrilling match of the tournament, in which the home players from Krakow played against the Czech futsal players from BSC Prague, three goals were contested and it was clear that this weekend would be very attractive for the spectators.
Avoy MU Brno played their first match in Krakow against the Polish team Sprint Wroclaw. Compared to the last league round in Prague, the team from Wroclaw showed a strong line-up and a large number of players on the bench. They came into the game with much more vigour than we were used to and the game looked exciting. Fortunately, Jan Mrazek managed to hang an uncatchable goal early in the second half to put Brno in the lead, adding a final 2-0 just before the end.
In the afternoon, the Brno team had their second and last match on Saturday against Hungarian LÁSS Budapest. Avoy MU Brno held the upper hand for the entire 40 minutes of the game, everyone shook their heads in disbelief at the goal of the league's top scorer Jan Mrazek, who ran out of the half with ten seconds left in the first half and at the last second was able to hang on to the left post with such a quick shot that many people didn't understand how he did it. He brought another important three points to the team.
On Sunday, both Czech teams had to play on Sunday as they faced each other at 8:30. It was the last match of the round for the BSC Prague team and unfortunately they had not managed to collect a single point in the table until then. So they entered the match against their rivals from Brno with a lot of energy. Lukáš Valer could feel that he wanted to win important points for the team, but the Brno team was always supported by our goalkeeper Buky. Jan Mrázek and Ondřej Gottlieb managed to get into shooting positions several times, but unfortunately they missed the goal by centimetres. Both Prague and Brno fought hard to get one point in the table for a 0-0 draw in an attractive match.
The last match of this league round was supposed to be the most attractive and exciting for the spectators. Brno's Avoy, who were clearly leading the table until then, played against the Polish host team Tyniecka NWP Krakow. Unfortunately for the organizers, Krakow's top scorer Martin Jung injured his right knee during Saturday's match and could not take part in the fight. His absence was felt in the game of the Polish team, the Brno team had a clear advantage in this match, the home team did not get many chances and played defensively. The home team was well supported by goalkeeper Krzysztof Bednarkiewicz, who often made incomprehensible saves worthy of praise. However, two minutes before the end he didn't get a chance against Jan Mrazek. Jan Mrazek beat them from two metres with a shot to the right post, which again had everyone shaking their heads.
The Mayor's Cup of Krakow was finally awarded to Avoy MU Brno. Jan Mrázek was again the top scorer with his four goals. Tomáš Bukovský again kept his zero-goal shield. For this year, the Brno team's league season is over, and they will train in the winter to cope with the continuation of the league in the spring in Budapest and Brno.

Training camp for kids
November 24-26, 2017, Opava
Football for the blind was one of the four sports disciplines at the Kids' ball games camp in Opava at the end of November. Our coaches and players led a group of about 30 children from primary schools across the country. It was a nice experience and fun for us and we are looking forward to the next such meeting.
