19 February 2022, Kraków
In February we went to Krakow to play friendly matches with Wisła Blind Football Kraków. Our newcomers gained their first game experience: Markéta Trnčáková, Klára Pacolová and Patrik Šanda. The first match ended goalless and the second one we lost 1:0.
Friendly matches with Vienna
9-10 April 2022, Vienna
We spent the second weekend of April in Vienna, where we played two friendly matches. We won the first one 2:0 (both goals by Jan Mrázek) and the second one 1:0 (Jan Bango). Great job by Jan Bango, who was everywhere again. We are happy that our new players Patrik and Klárka are taking their next football steps.

In mid-April we made our first trip to Switzerland, where we had the opportunity to play in Basel at the 1st International Tournament organized by the local team Phénix Olympiques. In addition to the organizers, the tournament was attended by MTV Stuttgart from Germany and our team from Brno.
Overall results

- MTV Stuttgart vs Phénix Olympiques (0:0)
- Avoy MU Brno vs Phénix Olympiques 1:0 (Mrázek)

Breakthrough moments: our goalkeeper Vladimír Vaďura reached his jersey number and age. Our captain Vojtech Polášek, otherwise a forged defender, scored his first international goal in his rich football career. We couldn't even count Jan Mrazek's goals, but we ended up with 5. Michal Petráš did a standard excellent job in defence. Our newcomer Patrik Šanda had a faster game and it is always a pleasure to have Lukáš Valer with us. Jan Bango, as always, held up both offense and defense.
We finished the International Tournament in Switzerland by winning gold medals, winning three times and losing once in 4 games in one day. Instead of medals and trophies, we celebrated the victory with Swiss cheese and wine, which we will take as a theme for future tournaments.
International Tournament in Thessaloniki
14 and 15 May 2022, Thessaloniki
In May we went to Thessaloniki, Greece for the 21st International Tournament organized by Pirsos Thessaloniki. Unfortunately, we lost the opening match against the home team 1:0 with an unfortunate penalty goal. Otherwise, we had many chances, but failed to convert any of them. The second match against the Greek national team ended 0-0. Our players played great. The last encounter with the Romanian national team we lost 2-0, but our players left everything on the field. So we took home the potato medals from Thessaloniki.
Summer camp
24-26 June 2023, Bučovice
Like every year in June, we organized a summer camp in Bučovice. We worked mainly on fitness and competed in style for many memorable prizes in football skills, swimming and singing around the campfire. On the second day of the camp, an Austrian team from Vienna accepted our invitation. We ended up conceding a single goal to Vienna with a minute to go and lost 1-0 after a very even match.

Prague S Derby in Eden
13 October 2022, Prague, SK Slavia Prague Stadium
Sunday's Prague S derby is one of the most exciting moments for every football fan and that also applies to us - footballers with visual impairment from Brno. The powerful atmosphere full of thunderous chants, shouts, whistles and cheers from the goal scored, produced by about 20,000 fans, was an exclusive and exciting experience. Fortunately, we had the commentary of the young players of SK Slavia Prague (U13 to U15) and they took their role with great vigour. For the players of Avoy MU Brno they became Jarda Bosák or Jirka Štěpán for about 90 minutes and with the help of their football insight they gave a really great performance. We can only hope that we will see this rising generation of talent in the future in Eden, this time perhaps on the pitch in the starting eleven. Many thanks to the boys of SK Slavia Praha, their coach Martin Machacek and last but not least to the Leontinka Foundation for making this extraordinary experience possible. Thank you!
