1st game of the 2015 league season
March 29, 2015, Brno - Horní Heršpice
Both teams from Brno and Prague split the trophies for the four league years so far evenly. The defending champion from 2014, the Avoy MU Brno team, invited their opponent BSC Prague to their home field and followed up on the end of last season. The match was in many ways similar to the last match in Prague. The Brno team won this time too, and again decided their victory in the second half. The order of scorers also remained unchanged as Ondřej Gottlieb scored after Jan Mrázek. Again it was basically a one-goal game and Ondřej Kričfaluši, the goalkeeper of BSC Praha, had a lot to do to keep his team's chances for a favourable result. In the first half, the visitors picked up four team fouls, three of which went to young defender Tomáš Mysliveček, who forgot to call Voy in time. However, Ondřej Gottlieb didn't handle the execution of a long penalty for the 4th accumulated team foul very well and the ball from his kick went completely out of the opponent's goal. The pressure of the Brno team escalated even more in the second half and after an unopposed shot by Jan Mrazek from behind the defender, Avoy MU Brno took the lead. The agile visiting striker Tomáš Jirout tried to do something about the result, but the Brno defence worked reliably and especially the strikers Jan Mrázek and Ondřej Gottlieb did not give their opponents a moment's respite and space to attack. At the end of the match Ondřej Gottlieb scored with a quick finish and set the final score at 2-0 for the home team Avoy MU Brno.
Avoy MU Brno line-up: goalkeeper Tomáš Bukovský, players: Jiří Fenz, Ondřej Gottlieb, Jan Hegr, Katka Hegrová, Jan Mrázek, Vojtěch Polášek, navigator behind the goal: Jitka Graclíková, coach: Milan Duda.

Training camp with FC St. Pauli
April 9-13, 2015, Hamburg
What better way to start this season than with a joint training camp with friendly team FC St. Pauli in Hamburg. From 9 to 13 April, Avoy MU Brno went to train in northern Germany. As this season looks challenging, the two friendly teams decided to invite Belgian five-a-side team Anderlecht and British blind football legends Darren Harris and David Mycock to the training camp.
The camp was again held in a friendly atmosphere full of mini-tournaments. The participants played for their teams but also had the opportunity to try out working together in mixed teams, which enriched everyone present. Not only the excellent coach David Mycock and double Paralympian Darren Harris, but also Serdal Celebi, a newcomer to the German national team, showed his coaching skills. All participants enjoyed, sometimes to the limit, an incredible amount of football, but also games, dancing and singing and are looking forward to the third edition of the international tournament Bučovice Blind Football Cup.

Eins-Energy Cup
April, 18, 2015, Chemnitz (Germany)
Participating teams: Chemnitzer FC, VSV Würzburg, FC St. Pauli von 1910 e.V., Avoy MU Brno
Avoy MU Brno kicked off the international tournament season by participating in the fifth edition of the Eins-Energy Cup, where they went to defend their gold medals from last year. Unfortunately, the best player of last year's tournament, Avoy MU Brno goalkeeper Tomáš Bukovský, could not participate in the tournament, so the Brno team started with a weakened line-up with substitute goalkeeper Vladimír Vaďura. The Brno team of four players was supported by Katja Löffler, captain of FC St. Pauli von 1910 e. V.
Three German teams took part in the tournament: the host team Chemnitzer FC, the friendly team FC St. Pauli von 1910 e.V. and VSV Würzburg. The tournament opened with a match between the hosts Chemnitzer FC and VSV Würzburg. Würzburg's outstanding goalkeeper Enrico Göbel, goalkeeper of the German national team, unfortunately did not enter this match, and so the home team asserted itself three times, once from the kick of Tom Pasewalk, twice from the kick of Jörg Fetzer, who not only confirmed his nomination for the best player of the tournament.
The second match was a friendly, with Hamburg FC St. Pauli and Avoy MU Brno playing against each other. No one managed to score in the match, as the defence on both sides worked perfectly. The match was therefore decided by a penalty shootout 2-0 for FC St. Pauli.
After the lunch break VSV Würzburg and Avoy MU Brno played against each other. In the second half, Brno's cannonballer Jan Mrazek managed to break through and placed a beautiful goal into Enrico's left side netting. Unfortunately, the joy of Avoy MU Brno did not last until the end of the match when thirty seconds before the end of the match Sebastian Schäffer, a player of the German national team, managed to equalize at 1-1. The Brno team lost the penalty shootout 2-3.
Proof that all the teams in the tournament were quite evenly matched was the result of the following match, when FC St. Pauli and the home team Chemnitzer FC won 2-0 after penalty kicks.
In the penultimate match of the tournament, FC St. Pauli showed their full strength, beating VSV Würzburg 3-0. Jonathan Tönsig scored the first international goal of the year, while Germany's Serdal Celebi came out of defence to score the other two.
After two penalty shootout losses, things were not looking good for Avoy MU Brno, so they went into the last match against Chemnitzer FC with high expectations. Unfortunately, Saxon Tom Pasewalk managed to get through a few minutes before the end of the match.
Chemnitzer FC ended up on the podium, FC St. Pauli took the silver medals to Hamburg, while the bronze medals were left for the Brno team. The best player was Jörg Fetzer. For all participants it was an important training for the upcoming season and everyone is looking forward to the third edition of the Bučovice Blind Football Cup in June in the Czech Republic.

2nd match of the 2015 league season
May 1, 2015, Prague - Březiněves
After the tournament in Chemnitz, the players from Avoy MU Brno met their traditional opponents from BSC Prague for the second league match in Březiněves, Prague. Avoy tried to build on their previous league win, but the situation was complicated by the absence of players on the Brno side and a significantly overcrowded bench on the Prague side.
Lukáš Valer, the returning forward of BSC Praha, was the "destroyer" who sealed the clear victory of the Prague team. Valer, who mostly devotes his time to his own national team duties, was a significant "reinforcement" of his own colours and mercilessly showed his full strength. His cheeky and increasingly incisive penetrations kept our defence constantly busy, which showed considerable problems on its own side and almost didn't keep up. The chaotic movement on the pitch, zero coordination in defending the encroaching attacker, ignoring the goalkeeper's instructions and personal mistakes of the defenders were justly punished. The Brno team tried to reverse the gradually increasing result to their disadvantage, actively creating good chances, but Valer was unbeatable - he sealed the home team's victory with three goals, a hat-trick.
In the coming weeks, the team will travel to Budapest to play a representative match against their Hungarian counterparts at the Grass Roots Festival. The end and the highlight of the summer season will be, of course, the third edition of the international tournament Bučovice Blind Football Cup 2015, which is organized by Avoy MU Brno.
Avoy MU Brno line-up: goalkeeper Tomáš Bukovský, players: Ondřej Gottlieb, Aleš Moravec, Jan Mrázek, Vojtěch Polášek, navigator behind the goal: Jitka Graclíková, coach: Milan Duda, assistant: Tomáš Hejl.
BSC Praha line-up: goalkeeper Ondřej Kričfaluši, players: Miroslav Babický, Zdeněk Barlok, Tomáš Hromádka, Tomáš Mysliveček, Michal Rokůsek, Lukáš Valer, coach: Jiří Kotrč.

Bučovice Blind Football Cup
June 19-22, 2015, Bučovice
In June 2015 we organized the 3rd edition of the international tournament - Bučovice Blind Football Cup. Eight teams took part in it, Brazilian ICB Bahia, English Worcester BFC, two German teams FC St. Pauli Hamburg, Chemnitzer FC, Greek Pirsos Thessaloniki, Belgian Five-a-side Anderlecht, Irish BFI Dublin and Czech organizing team Avoy MU Brno.
We have kept the tournament system from last year, which included group matches and a thrilling knockout part. Spectators and participants of the event could once again listen to professional commentary of each match with the help of borrowed headphones or follow the online statistics of the tournament. Brazil's ICB Bahia defended their victory in the tournament, once again defeating Greece's Pirsos Thessaloniki in a repeat of last year's final. Participants and spectators alike left extremely satisfied, as evidenced by their positive feedback, which we offer below.

Training camp with the Belgian national team
Last summer at the IBSA Euro Challenge Cup, the Belgian and Czech national teams faced off in the finals - the gold medals went to Belgium. Both teams qualified for the European Championships with this tournament. However, fate did not favour the Czech national team, so they declined to participate in the European Championships. However, a friendship was formed between the players from Belgium and the players from the Czech national team. Therefore, the Belgians invited our Brno team to their home ground and played two preparatory matches with us in preparation for the upcoming championship.
The first match ended in normal time 1-1 after goals by Jean-Michel Bertinchamps and Ondřej Gottlieb, the penalty shootout was better managed by us and we won 2-1 (both goal scorers scored penalties, the winning goal was scored by Jiri Fenz). The second match was decided by the Belgians in the last minutes of a very balanced match and after a goal by Kevin Vanderborgh we lost 0-1.

Summer camp in Bučovice
July 23-27, 2015, Bučovice
Participating teams: Avoy MU Brno, FC St. Pauli
The summer training camp with the friendly German team from St. Pauli, which was organized by the coaches of Avoy MU Brno from 23 to 27 July, was an imaginary end to the current season, which besides valuable experience brought the Brno team together again.
The programme of the event was in a relaxing and restful spirit. Both teams needed to properly regenerate both physically and mentally after the successful BBFC 2015 tournament, where they rightfully won the top positions. Compared to the May meeting in Hamburg, which was more of a technical preparation, coach Duda, who was responsible for the training programme of the camp, chose the opposite tactic. The players accepted this change positively, exhausted after a difficult season.
They advanced individual exercises with innovative physiological elements. Each player was able to turn to individual assistants and ask for their help to improve positions and load sets, which had previously given him considerable problems. In addition, the players had the opportunity to design and direct the exercises, with the input of valuable advice from the coaches. Another new feature was the presence of physiotherapist Jitka Medová, whose expert help Avoy MU Brno will be able to rely on in the coming seasons.
Both teams also underwent several preparatory matches to ensure that the players did not forget the most valuable things and that despite the more relaxed atmosphere, they did not lose the proper "feeling from the kicks". In their free time, the teams then strengthened their endless friendship with various activities - joint walks around the area, a visit to the Bučovice castle, musical evenings over live music and singing, or a visit to the swimming pool and swimming pool.

3rd game of the 2015 league season
September 20, 2015, Prague - Březiněves
On Sunday, September 20, the Avoy team went to Prague for the 3rd league match in an attempt to turn the status of the mutual matches to their side. The teams maintained their unbeaten record on their home field, but more goals scored played in favour of the Prague team. Both teams started with their key players, so the duel promised an interesting spectacle for the handful of spectators. After the opening whistle of the Polish referees, Prague's cannonballer Lukáš Valer rushed into the attack, while Brno's defence, consisting of Kateřina Hegrová and Aleš Moravec, defended tenaciously and did not give him the opportunity to threaten the goal directly. On the other side, Jan Mrázek got a promising chance a moment later, but his attempt from close range ended up only with an unintentional kick by Ondřej Kričfaluši in the Prague goal. This was the spirit of almost the whole first half, both teams defended fiercely and especially striker Valer had a hard time getting into the box. A moment before the end of the half Ondřej Gottlieb won the ball in his own half and after an individual pass from the sideline he shot the ball between the legs of goalkeeper Kričfaluši.
The Prague team entered the second half with more offensive gusto. Brno's defence was flawless, except for one moment when Lukáš Valero managed to hit the crossbar from close range, and then let Brno goalkeeper Bukovský excel with a shot from distance. From the second half it is worth mentioning 2 more missed penalties, the first one was awarded to goalkeeper Kričfaluši, who knocked out Ondřej Gottlieb's shot, the second penalty from Jan Mrázek's kick went out. Both penalty kicks were whistled for a shot by the Prague goalkeeper outside the box. The match ended with the closest difference 0-1 for the visiting Avoy, 3 points go to Brno and bring this team closer to defending last year's title.

Blind Football Masters
September 26-27, 2015, Hamburg, St. Pauli
Participating teams: Avoy MU Brno (Czech Republic), Chemnitzer FC (Germany), FC St. Pauli (Germany), Marburg (Germany), Five-A-Side Anderlecht (Belgium), BFI Dublin (Ireland)
FC St. Pauli hosted their eighth annual Hallenmasters tournament this year, unusually on an outdoor pitch rather than indoors. Also new was the number of invited teams, which was reduced from eight to six. Avoy MU Brno went to this tournament for the third time in a row. During its first participation in 2013 the Brno team won the fourth place, then in 2014 it fought its way to the finals and finally left Hamburg with silver medals, this year our dream became a reality and from Hamburg we took away not only the golden cup but also the award for the best player of the tournament Ondřej Gottlieb, who scored nine goals against his opponents during five games.
Brno Avoy started the tournament with the first match against the German Bundesliga winners Marburg. Unexpectedly, they led 2-0 in the first ten minutes after two goals scored by Ondřej Gottlieb. Before the end of the first half Marburg managed to equalise at 2-1, then in the second half they drew 2-2, after two goals by the young promising player of the German national team Taime Kuttig. Avoy and Marburg both added one point to the table.
In the second match, this year's Bundesliga silver medalists Chemnitzer FC took on BFI Dublin. The Irish improved their defence a lot and the Germans didn't have enough time to score for 50 minutes, so the match ended goalless and the other two teams also added one point to the table.
In the third match, the home team FC St. Pauli took on the Belgian team Anderlecht. In the match, the players managed to score once on each side, Belgian Alexander Wespes and on the German side Serdal Celebi. Both scorers are members of their national teams. The match ended with one point for both teams.
The gold and bronze medallists from the German league entered the next match against each other. Marburg showed in this match that they definitely deserved the gold, after two goals by Taime Kuttig and one goal by Hassan Altumbas they won against Chemnitzer FC 3-0.
Avoy MU Brno took on their friends from FC St. Pauli for their second match. After several losses in the past, they managed to score twice this time in a very exciting match thanks to Ondřej Gottlieb and St. Pauli only answered the challenge once. The German referees reacted unhappily in this match, after a corner was whistled for Avoy and a goal scored by Jan Mrazek, they let the situation be replayed due to a complaint from the German goalkeeper that he had not yet had his defence corrected. Jan Mrazek and the whole team didn't enjoy their goal for too long, but Avoy still got three points in the table after the 2-1 win.
In the sixth match, the Irish and Belgians played against each other. Despite some incredible defending by the Irish BFI Dublin, Alexander Wespes finally managed to break through and drove the ball straight into the net. The Belgians won 1-0 and added three points to the table.
The last game on Saturday was played by German side FC St. Pauli against Marburg. It was the third match of the day for both teams, both teams defended perfectly and therefore no one was able to score and the match ended 0-0.
The Brno players also played their last game on Saturday, with a lot of confidence against Irish side BFI Dublin, who they have always managed to beat so far. However, they managed to break through the tough Irish defence only once during the match, but even that was enough to win 1-0 and add three more points to the table for Avoy MU Brno.
Saturday's day ended with Belgian Anderlech against German Chemnnitz, but neither of these teams managed to score in their last game on Saturday and the match ended without any goals.
Everybody entered Sunday's matches with even more effort, as the table looked very even and every small mistake could be deservedly rewarded/punished. In the first match on Sunday Marburg and Dublin met. Taime Kuttig scored two goals for the scorers table and forced Ondřej Gottlieb to fight hard for his medal for the best player. The Marburg vs Dublin match ended 2-0 and Marburg gained eight points.
The Brno players knew they had no choice but to win both Sunday matches to take home the gold. So they entered the match against the Belgians with a lot of energy. Ondřej Gottlieb, despite his injury, managed to get through the Belgian defence three times, while Alexandre, with his exertions, was only able to respond to this pressure once. The 3-1 winners of Avoy MU Brno scored their tenth table point.
In the next German derby, FC St. Pauli met Chemnitzer FC. Both teams fought like lions for three points, but each took only one after a 1-1 draw. Serdal Celebi scored for FC St. Pauli, while David Lippman and Jörg Fetzer scored for Chemnitz.
The fourth match on Sunday pitted Germany's Marburg and Belgium's Anderlecht against each other. The Marburg players won their next three points in the table after a 2-0 victory, Taime Kuttig again gave Ondřej no other chance than to continue fighting for the best player of the tournament and the whole Brno team had no choice but to win their last match again.
In the penultimate match of the tournament, Avoy MU Brno and Chemnitzer FC fought for points. In many of the previous matches the luck was on the side of the Germans, moreover two of the five Brno players were already seriously injured. Ondřej with a suspected broken collarbone and Vojtech with a broken nose. Nevertheless, he and the rest of the team (Kateřina Hegrova, Jan Mrázek and Jirka Fenz) went all out and won 1-0. Ondra's goal fell just before the end of the match and brought the Brno team gold and the coveted award for the best player of the tournament.
German FC St. Pauli entered the last match of the tournament fighting for the bronze medal against BFI Dublin, who had nothing to lose and were left with the last place. If the Germans had failed, Belgium's Anderlecht would have reached the bronze. However, in the last minutes of the match, the Brno coach gave tactical advice to the German side, who gratefully accepted his advice and a few minutes later one of the youngest German players, 15-year-old Jonathan Tönsig scored the last goal of the tournament, which brought the bronze medals to the organising team.
We would like to thank especially the organizing team FC St. Pauli for a great tournament. However, thanks to all the teams that made this tournament a special event in the world of blind football. We would also like to thank Stefan Groenveld and Silvia Hrbáčková for their great photo documentation: photo gallery of Silvia, photo gallery of Stefan.

4th game of the 2015 league season
October 11, 2015, Brno - Horní Heršpice
The last league match of the 2015 season had an interesting plot. Although the home team Avoy MU Brno had one more win than the Prague team BSC Praha, the score was the same for both teams, 3-3. So if the visitors had won in normal time, they could have lifted the cup above their heads. So they came to Brno with the strongest possible line-up including Lukáš Valer. Brno were missing two pillars, Katka Hegrová and Jiří Fenz, both ill.
Avoy MU Brno managed to score right from the first action. After a shot by goalkeeper Tomáš Bukovský, the ball rolled towards the Prague goal. Ondra Gottlieb caught up with it just in front of the net and shot it past goalkeeper Ondřej Kričfaluši. The BSC Praha players were scalded, and Ondra Gottlieb took advantage of their momentary lack of concentration in the 4th minute for the second time. From behind the defenders he fired the ball, which goalkeeper Kričfaluši knocked into the net. Nobody expected such an early and two-goal lead. Sharpshooter Lukáš Valer could not get up to speed and crashed into a focused defensive block made up of Vojta Polášek and Aleš Moravec. The only bigger chance was saved by Tomáš Bukovský in the home team's goal. In the front, Brno kept the ball and by frequently moving it from one side to the other, the forwards Ondra Gottlieb and Jan Mrázek got into interesting positions. The first half was clear.
Jan Mrázek struck the decisive blow in the 9th minute of the second half. His goal was almost identical to the opening goal of the match. Again, just outside the box, he leaned into the ball and hit it precisely to the bar. BSC Praha goalkeeper Ondřej Kričfaluši gestured and apologized to his teammates, "I couldn't get to the ball!" Towards the end of the match, the Brno players were a bit tired because they could not substitute. As a result, they quickly picked up four team fouls. The very first penalty kick resulted in a score reduction by the visiting team. Lukáš Valer hit the ball so hard that Tomáš Bukovský only knocked it onto the crossbar. Lukáš found the deflected ball first and beat the Brno goalkeeper with a consolation shot. Another foul by the home defence brought BSC Praha an interesting position to play the second penalty kick, as it was about 7 meters from the goal line. Lukáš Valer, however, did not come at Tomáš Bukovský this time. The last goal of the match was scored by Ondra Gottlieb, when he beautifully hit the crossbar of the opponent's goal and completed his hat-trick. The clear 4-1 win meant that Avoy MU Brno won the league cup, the third in the five-year history of the league.
Avoy MU Brno line-up: goalkeeper Tomáš Bukovský, players: Ondřej Gottlieb, Aleš Moravec, Jan Mrázek, Vojtěch Polášek, Jan Hegr, Pavel Ondra, navigator behind the goal: Jitka Graclíková, coach: Milan Duda.

4. Sächsischer Blindenfußball-Cup
October 24-25, 2015, Leipzig
On the penultimate weekend of October, Avoy MU Brno players went to Leipzig for the third time to the fourth annual Saxony Blind Soccer Cup. Compared to last year's edition, which was attended by six teams and played in groups, this year the organizers chose to organize a tournament for five teams in a one-on-one system. Hungary's LÁSS Budapest and three German teams, FC St. Pauli, almost home team Chemnitzer FC and Schalke 04, also accepted the invitation.
The lot was rather favourable for us, as we could spread our forces over two days and play only two matches in each of them. The luck was even in our favour, so much so that we could open the tournament with a match against FC Schalke 04 and close it with a gold medal match against Chemnitzer FC from Saxony on Sunday before the winners were announced.
FC Schalke 04 e. V. was the only German team we had never seen play in Leipzig before the tournament, so we didn't know what to expect. The only indicator was fourth place in the German Bundesliga, a better position than FC St. Pauli. The goal was simple, defend well and score at least one goal, which Ondřej Gottlieb managed to do in the first minutes of the game. We kept this close result until the end of the first half. However, FC Schalke came out with more vigour in the second half and equalised at 1-1, which was followed by another goal from Ondřej Gottlieb a few minutes later. After the 2-1 win, we took an important first three points in the table.
Our second opponent on Saturday was the Hungarian team LÁSS Budapest. Over the years they have managed to build an almost bulletproof defense. The game was fast, challenging, but almost foul-free. In the second half Ondřej Gottlieb managed to push through again, and so they scored another three points after winning 1-0.
The standings after Saturday's matches looked like this:
- Avoy MU Brno had the full six points after victories over LÁSS Budapest and FC Schalke 04 e. V.
- Chemnitzer FC entered Sunday's matches with four points after a 1-0 win over FC Schalke and a goalless draw against FC St. Pauli.
- Schalke 04 defeated the Hungarians in their last match on Saturday to take three points.
- FC St. Pauli entered the second day with two points after two goalless draws against the Hungarians and Chemnitzer.
- Hungary's LÁSS Budapest picked up their only point with a 0-0 draw with FC St. Pauli.
Like every year, the Leipzig Mayor's Cup is also accompanied by a cultural programme. This year, the organizers prepared a tour of the Johann Sebastian Bach Museum on Saturday afternoon, which was a great success with the participants.
On Sunday morning the friendly teams FC St. Pauli and Avoy MU Brno had to play against each other. In an extremely even match, the German goalkeeper Matze intervened brilliantly, Ondřej Gottlieb and Jan Mrázek managed to get into shooting position several times. Before the end of the first half, Ondřej sent a shot from ten meters that was not noticed by Matze or the navigator behind the goal, but it put Avoy in the lead 1-0. In the second half, the other member of FC St. Pauli who made it to the national team, 15-year-old Rasmus Narjes, got into a shooting position and his shot on goal deflected awkwardly off our captain Aleš Moravec. The 1-1 result lasted until the end of the match, so both teams took 1 point. For us, the road to the podium became a harder task, but not unattainable.
However, we were helped to achieve our goal by the Hungarians, who defended like lions and fought out a goalless draw against the silver medalists from the German Bundesliga, Chemnitzer FC.
The last match of the tournament was a real final between our team with seven points and the German Chemnitzer FC with five points. We entered the match actively and hard with the aim to win and to return the defeat of last year's Hallenmasters and Bučovice. However, the three-man defence did not give Jan Mrazek or Ondřej Gottlieb many chances to get shots on goal. Chemnitzer FC, with Jörg Fetzer on top, got in front of Tomáš Bukovský's goal several times and Buky had to show what an excellent goalkeeper he is. The second half was in the same vein, but fatigue was already evident on both sides. Fetzer hiding in the depths of his attacking half waiting for a long throw was an increasingly frequent phenomenon. However, the attacking duo of Mrazek, Gottlieb worked perfectly, who also managed to break into shooting positions occasionally. But in fifty minutes full of tension and really hard football, nobody managed to get through. After a 0-0 draw we paid our debts to Chemnitzer FC and won the golden cup for Brno. For the almost home team from Saxon Kamenica, that left the silver medals, and FC St. Pauli took the bronze to Hamburg.
